Your personal channel PEAR Library can be synced with Kodi for a seamless experience across both platforms. This article will teach you how to install and use the add-on.
Requirements
- You must have Kodi installed - download it here: http://kodi.tv/download/
- You must have a channel PEAR account with media sources in your Library (otherwise you won't have anything to sync to Kodi!)
Installation
- Download the add-on zip archive here: https://github.com/Jidly/plugin.video.channelPEAR/archive/master.zip
- Launch Kodi and then go to System → Settings → Add-ons → Install from zip file
- Then find the zip file you just downloaded onto your system and select it.
Link your Library
Once you've installed the add-on successfully, you'll need to link it to your personal channel PEAR library (or share a friends). The add-on will not work until you complete this step.
Right click "channel PEAR" from your main Video Add-ons page in Kodi and then select "Add-on settings" as shown below.
Click the first button "Enter Kodi Channel URL from your Library" and backspace the example URL, then paste (CTRL+V) or type in your custom channel PEAR URL. Then select "Done". (you can get your custom channel PEAR URL from your library at https://channelpear.com/library/ - must be logged in - click "pair device" in the top menu and select "Kodi").
Then click the second button, "After entering URL, click here to confirm". If you entered a valid URL, you will then be able to enter a nickname for your Library after backspacing the example. Enter a new name and select "Done."
Now you can click into the Add-on and watch compatible sources from your channel PEAR library!
